Sustainability and Chemical Dumps

Get ready for another hippy company. Nau clothing is launching a website in the first quarter of 2007 to be followed by retail stores later in the year. Nau’s business philosophy is sustainability from raw materials to retailers, and they have the capitol and talent from Nike, Adidas, and Patagonia to make it happen.

BizJournals.com has a great quote from one of the company’s founders, Mike Galbraith, who calls the outdoor industry a chemical dump. The funny part? Galbraith used to work for Patagonia.
